Job summary

Osprey is seeking a proactive Engineering Surveyor to lead surveying, setting out and dimensional verification across a range of civil and mechanical projects in the UK. You will report to the Senior Project Engineer and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Working with Engineering, Construction, Quality and Project teams, you will manage survey activities, maintain control networks and produce accurate technical documentation to support project delivery and

Qualifications

• Qualification in Surveying, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Accreditation by AssocRICS or MRICS status is preferred.
• Experience in dimensional control on civil/infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead dimensional control, surveying and geometric verification across complex projects.
• Carry out setting out for civil works including foundations and structures.
• Perform alignment surveys for mechanical installations and supports.
• Interpret drawings, BIM models and survey data to provide accurate solutions.
• Manage project coordinate systems and maintain survey control networks.
• Analyse survey/point cloud data to identify deviations and non-conformances.
• Produce detailed survey reports and technical documentation for handover.
• Utilise high-precision equipment for measurement and verification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet dimensional requirements.
• Support constructability reviews and installation planning throughout the project.
