Job summary

EDF HPC is seeking a Junior Surveyor to assist the Surveyor with fieldwork on the Hinkley Point C project. You will prepare site measurements, operate survey instruments and help process data to provide reliable results.

Applicants should be able to work in a project team, stay flexible under pressure, follow specification documents, and contribute to surveillance reports for approval by the Survey Team Manager. A driving licence is desirable.

• Experience in survey fieldwork and operating survey instruments.
• Ability to work in a project team and communicate effectively.
• Flexible, resilient and able to work under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of survey data processing.
• Driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take instruction from the Surveyor to support classic survey operations.
• Operate survey instruments on site.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure work meets schedule and quality.
• Understand applicable specifications and documents for activities.
• Write surveillance reports and technical documents for approval by the Survey Team Manager.
