Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking an EE Architecture Lead Engineer to join the E/E Architecture team at a customer site in Gaydon. You will translate vehicle requirements into robust architecture solutions across domains, guiding interfaces and artefacts through concept, development and validation.

The role requires leadership in architecture reviews, cross-functional collaboration and a strong background in vehicle ECUs, networks and MBSE methods. Attractive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, electronic, automotive, systems or software engineering or equivalent experience.
• Automotive E/E architecture, systems engineering or vehicle electrical engineering experience.
• Experience developing functional, logical and physical vehicle architectures and defining system interfaces.
• Strong understanding of ECUs, distributed electrical systems and CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks.
• Experience with requirements management, architecture modelling, traceability and change impact assessment.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and communicate complex topics to teams.
• Experience supporting automotive programs through concept to validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain vehicle E/E architecture concepts, models and technical descriptions across multiple vehicle domains.
• Translate vehicle and stakeholder requirements into functional, logical and physical architecture definitions.
• Define system boundaries, interfaces, and interactions between hardware and software elements.
• Perform architecture impact assessments for new features and engineering changes.
• Maintain architecture requirements, decisions, traceability and artefacts.
• Lead or support architecture reviews, design assessments and customer governance forums.
• Coordinate interfaces with network, diagnostics, cybersecurity, functional safety and integration teams.
• Support concept selection, trade studies and risk mitigation activities.
• Ensure architecture solutions consider integration, validation, serviceability and production constraints.
