Job summary

Tata Technologies Limited is seeking a hands-on Embedded Systems Engineer to join the Body Electronics team. You will help identify future technology, define roadmaps, and drive engineering lifecycle activities from design to production for high‑end vehicle platforms.

You will collaborate across engineering teams, manage DFMEA, HW/SW changes, and test planning while ensuring ASPICE standards. The role demands strong problem solving and proactive leadership in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with automotive systems or vehicle integration.
• Strong understanding of ECU, network, software and vehicle integration.
• Experience leading issue resolution across multiple engineering teams.
• Customer-facing leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• System and components specifications.
• DFMEA.
• BoM management and Engineering releases.
• Validation planning (DVP).
• Test specifications.
• Timing plan and project management.
• Interface on CAN/LIN or Ethernet.
• Root Cause analysis and Systems sign-off.
• Component functional testing and calibration.
• Supplier management and component suppliers.
• Define scope of change, software requirements and ARXML changes.
• SW Validation.
• Definition of ECU pin-outs, connector & harness definition.
• Manage localization plan for new regions.
• Update and maintain test tool and test scripts.
• Costing & budget planning - HW.
• Define and maintain component time plan (HW & SW).
• Define EOL configuration.
• Technology road map for next Gen HW.
• HW samples for build readiness.
