Tata Technologies Ltd. in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Body Electronics Engineer to be based at a customer site in Gaydon.

The role covers development, configuration, integration and validation of body electronics features and ECU parameters for automotive projects. The successful candidate will work within the Embedded Systems Solutions team, applying knowledge of body features, vehicle networks and diagnostics, and will engage in hands-on calibration, testing and collaboration with

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Body Electronics Engineer to be based at our customer’s site in Gaydon.

Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.

Role Summary:

Develop, configure, integrate and validate body electronics systems and vehicle comfort, access and control functions. The role supports feature requirements, ECU configuration, calibration, network interfaces, diagnostics and validation

Dimension of function:

Our ESS is a fast-growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers.

The EE team within ESS is responsible for hardware and software that delivers the EE & High voltage components

A position within the EE team requires a highly motivated and hands on team player with exceptional attention to detail, pro-activeness, diligence, a positive attitude and the ability to communicate well. Our customers expect high standards, and we require staff capable of meeting such demands.

Areas of responsibility:

• Support development and integration of body electronics features.
• Analyse feature requirements and system interfaces.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Degree in electrical, electronic, automotive or mechatronics engineering.
• Strong body electronics or BCM experience.
• Knowledge of body features, vehicle networks and diagnostics.
• Hands-on integration, calibration or validation experience.
• Strong problem-solving and defect management skills.
• Access, lighting, closures, comfort or security function experience.
• AUTOSAR and model-based development awareness.
