Job summary

Pioneer Selection – Manufacturing & Industry Recruitment Specialists in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy food production site. The role covers both electrical and mechanical maintenance on production and packaging machinery, with reactive and planned preventative tasks.

You will join a hands-on engineering team on a permanent shift pattern (lates or nights, 5 days).

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working in manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire Salary: £50,000 – £56,000 Shift: Permanent Lates OR Permanent Nights – 5 Days per Week Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced and busy food production site in Stonehouse. This role would suit an engineer who enjoys working within a high-volume manufacturing environment and is looking to join a stable and well-established business.

Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance across a variety of production and packaging machinery, while supporting continuous improvement activities across site.

The business is looking for a hands-on engineer who is comfortable working across both electrical and mechanical maintenance disciplines.

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to work across both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks
• Experience carrying out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance within a fast-paced production environment

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Experience working within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or industrial environments

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK
• Experience fault finding on PLC systems using inputs and outputs
• Food manufacturing experience
