Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Lead Engineer for a UK-leading logistics company in Birmingham. The role involves maintenance on a fully automated site, with a rotating days/nights pattern and opportunities for training and progression.

You will perform both planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical faults, and contribute to ongoing improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled maintenance experience in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Level 3 Engineering Qualification is required.
• Hands-on maintenance experience including planned, reactive and breakdown work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site machinery in a fully automated facility.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement and install new equipment as needed.

Lead Engineer

Salary:Up to £60,000 + Overtime + Pension + Excellent caree

Shifts: Monday to Friday days

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead multiskilled engineer to join a UK leading logistics company. The Lead multiskilled engineer will be joining an innovative market leader within the industry who can offer unlimited progression and technical development. The Lead multiskilled Engineer will be working within a fully automated facility and will receive industry leading training on an ongoing basis. With a solid structure in place there are clear progressions routes into the next role at any level you join. As a business, internal promotions are imperative - each role that becomes available is advertised internally accross the country for a minimum of 2 weeks before going external and you are guaranteed to be interviewed if you put your hand up. With this being a state of the art fully automated site there is extensive training from day one - both internal and external and with the technology evolving at such a fast pace this training is ongoing at all levels. This really is a great oppurtunity for an experienced Lead multiskilled engineer to showcase their skills and refine them with some real technical equipment. Your role will include planned and reactive maintenance on all of the machinery on site. With this in mind you must have strong experience within a similar environment. This is working a rotating days and nights shift pattern so please only apply if you can accomodate this.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Lead Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Level 3 Engineering Qualification
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Lead Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements for the Lead Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
