Overview

Lead Engineer opportunity with a leader in the automotive manufacturing industry, on site in Malvern.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday (8:00–16:45) – Friday (8:00–12:00)

Location: Malvern

Job Description

• Leading design and development teams throughout the project lifecycle
• From initial concept layouts through to analysis of designs including loading, thermal, and tolerancing
• Collaborating with manufacturing/production engineering to ensure optimum assembly processes with minimal manufacturing restraints, including tooling choices
• Liaising with customers and ensuring deliverables align with RFQ/Gateway requirements
• Generating forecasted budgets for each project and managing planned versus actual spend

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent in relevant engineering disciplines
• Experience and understanding of GD&T and technical knowledge of design processes
• Ability to manage projects within a fast-paced environment (automotive experience is advantageous)
