We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join a prestigious luxury automotive brand in Daventry. Embrace a long-term contract role that offers a salary up to £50,000 per annum and the opportunity to contribute to iconic, bespoke vehicle manufacturing with a focus on quality, attention to detail, and craftsmanship.

The Opportunity:

Due to ongoing growth, they are expanding their team and seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. You will contribute to developing manufacturing processes, revolutionising vehicle assembly in a low-volume environment, supporting new model launches, and engineering changes. Your role will include enhancing Project Management, Safety, Quality, Cost Management, and Product Delivery.

Get involved in:

  • Design Reviews
  • PFMEA
  • DFMEA
  • BOM Management
  • Assembly sequencing, Process & Procedure Documentation, and Product Traceability methodology
  • MES System – Vehicle Build & Control

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for automotive components, emphasizing efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver all program aspects from inception to production.
  • Define and deliver operational best practices aligned with brand standards.
  • Meet project milestones and support program objectives.
  • Create detailed project plans and timelines for vehicle restoration.
  • Analyze and improve existing production processes for cost reduction and productivity gains.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of materials and parts.
  • Work with quality control teams to implement inspections at various production stages.
  • Support prototype build phases and activities like Virtual Build and Manpower Planning.
