Fichtner Consulting Engineers Ltd, based in Stockport, seeks a Lead Engineering Consultant with extensive project management experience across thermal, renewable, waste, or data centre power projects. The role requires consultancy process expertise, strong client liaison, and UK engineering standard knowledge.

The position is permanent, based from the Stockport office, with 2–3 days per week in our south Manchester office and UK/Ireland travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional engineer with a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive project management experience across thermal, renewables, waste treatment or data centre power.
• Experience with consultancy processes, reports, contracts, P&ID's and client liaison.
