Job summary

Talent STEM Ltd is seeking a Production Shift Manager for a 24-hour Energy-from-Waste facility in the South East England. You will lead a complex operation, ensuring safety, plant performance, and regulatory compliance while coordinating production, maintenance support, and safety systems.

The role requires at least five years of operational experience and two years of people management. Direct EFW experience and knowledge of emissions control are essential.

Qualifications

• Direct Energy-from-Waste experience is essential.
• Operational experience in Energy-from-Waste, waste incineration or similar thermal-treatment facility is required.
• At least five years' relevant operational experience.
• At least two years' people-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the plant during your shift.
• Coordinate production, plant performance, maintenance support, safety systems and environmental compliance.
• Manage permit-to-work and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate maintenance to minimise disruption and losses.
• Maintain accurate operational records and shift handovers.
