This Global Energy Software Company has a platform that energy traders and trading teams use to model and simulate their energy markets from day ahead through to 3-5 years.

This role provides an exciting opportunity for a Lead Analyst with a strong understanding of energy trading to make a real impact and join a global company.

About The Lead Energy Trading Analyst Role

This is a customer-facing role, requiring strong energy modelling capabilities and excellent communication skills. These market-leading products help shape the future of the energy industry, offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with key market participants, and solve critical problems facing the energy market today.

As a Lead Energy Trading Analyst, you will demonstrate consulting capability and market knowledge within a highly established Energy Tech business at the forefront of energy trading technology.

Key Responsibilities for the Lead Energy Analyst:

• Assist energy trading teams in understanding how to achieve their investment and trading decisions.
• Review energy markets and fundamentals, working with trading clients to develop energy models within their business via the platform.
• Have an understanding of stack modelling and energy market fundamentals, and be eager to apply this knowledge to assist others.
