We are looking for an Account Manager to join our successful Energy Intensive Division team. Our dedicated Energy Intensive Division is responsible for looking after large industrial customer’s utility and sustainability needs. This is a home based role.
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to take responsibility for ensuring their client portfolio receives the maximum available commercial and operational value from the solutions provided. You will take ownership of the client experience and for building long-term relationships with clients which support retention and growth by acting as the trusted advisor to the client.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Essential:
* Minimum 5 years of in-depth, extensive knowledge of the energy/utilities/sustainability services industry
* Demonstrable experience of working with clients on flex supply contracts
* IT literate with strong MS Office (particularly Excel), MS Outlook skills and used to CRM systems
* Strong commercial awareness – able to identify and develop new opportunities
* Strong time management discipline, able to multitask, prioritise multiple deadlines and manage requests across a number of different clients
Desirable:
* Minimum 5 years of account management/client relationship/business development experience
* Demonstrable evidence of achieving financial targets
Qualifications:
* Full UK driving licence and be able to and willing to travel across the UK to visit our clients in person
* GCSEs (English and Maths) and A-Levels
Desirable:
* Professional sales/account management training
* Higher level qualification relevant to the position or educated to a degree level or equivalent
