Job summary

The Taylor Root client is seeking a Lead Employment Lawyer for a globally active financial services firm. This in-house role covers a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters across the EMEA region, reporting directly to the General Counsel.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across London and the region, handling advisory, contractual, and strategic employment initiatives. Ideal candidates will have 5+ PQE, with experience in a law firm or in-house setting.

Qualifications

5+ PQE employment lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or in-house.
Experience advising on both non-contentious and contentious matters is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Providing expert legal advice on employment law matters.
Non-contentious and contentious matters across EMEA.
Supporting with contractual matters.
Work with People Operations to improve employment processes.
Serve as legal advisor on business initiatives and transactions across the region, with focus on London/EMEA.
Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams across departments.
Liaise with external counsel when required.
