Job summary

Taylor Root and a leading global financial services firm are seeking a senior employment lawyer with 10+ PQE to lead employment matters at group level in London. Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will partner with HR, Risk, Compliance and business leaders to manage legal risk and support transformation across multiple jurisdictions.

You will oversee both contentious and non-contentious work, directing strategic responses to high-profile matters and advising the executive team on

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be a 10+ PQE employment lawyer, preferably with law firm or in-house experience.
• Extensive experience advising on complex employment matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven track record of managing high-profile employment litigation and investigations.
• Experience supporting corporate transactions, restructurings and transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and stakeholders at Board level.
• Candidates outside of this PQE range with the prerequisite experience would be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction on complex and high-profile employment matters, including workforce restructuring.
• Lead and manage significant employment litigation, tribunal claims and regulatory investigations.
• Serve as the point person for the executive team in relation to employment matters.
