Job summary

S Knights Recruitment is seeking a Lead Employability Tutor to oversee delivery of employability programmes across West Yorkshire. You will combine high-quality learner delivery with programme coordination, ensuring learners gain confidence, skills and progression opportunities into employment or further training.

You will own day-to-day programme delivery, monitor learner progress and work with employers to create meaningful progression.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering government-funded Employability programmes.
• Proven experience as an Employability Tutor or similar.
• Ability to manage learner progression and day-to-day operations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good understanding of safeguarding, Prevent and learner support requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging employability, confidence-building and workplace-readiness sessions.
• Manage learner engagement, attendance, retention and progression.
• Support learner induction, initial assessment, ILPs and RARPA.
• Take ownership of day-to-day programme delivery and coordination.
• Monitor learner progress and provide appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with employers and partners to create progression opportunities.
• Prepare learners for work experience, employer engagement and interviews.
• Support learners into employment, apprenticeships or further training.
• Maintain accurate learner records and programme documentation.
• Work with tutors, technical specialists and stakeholders.
• Deliver Construction and/or Green Skills training where you have relevant experience.
• Support programme quality, reporting and continuous improvement.
