Platform Recruitment has partnered with a global leader in precise control software to hire a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in St. Ives.

You will design, develop, and test firmware for bare-metal and embedded Linux/RTOS platforms, and lead a cross-functional team of hardware and software engineers through the SDLC. The role requires proven leadership in firmware and high-performance C/C++, with experience in ARM Cortex devices and multiple communication protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading firmware development for bare-metal and Linux/RTOS-based systems.
• High proficiency in embedded C/C++ for performance-critical applications.
• Strong knowledge of embedded protocols (TCP/UDP, SPI/I2C, CAN, RS232).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and test firmware for bare-metal and embedded Linux/RTOS.
• Lead a cross-functional hardware-software team through the software development life cycle.
