Job summary

Wattbike is seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware & Software Engineer to lead firmware development for its smart, connected indoor bikes. You will own the firmware architecture across Nordic SoCs, BLE/ANT+/Wi‑Fi stacks, and RTOS or bare‑metal environments.

Collaborate with electronics, app and cloud teams to ensure robust, scalable connectivity and performance. The role calls for hands‑on mastery in C/C++, strong debugging skills, and a strategic mindset to drive firmware quality and

Qualifications

• 10+ years embedded development experience
• 5+ years in a senior/lead developer role
• Proven embedded firmware development in C/C++ for microcontroller‑based systems
• Strong experience with Nordic Semiconductor SoCs (nRF52/nRF53) and Keil or equivalent
• Solid BLE, ANT+, and Wi‑Fi knowledge; RTOS and low‑power design experience

Responsibilities

• Lead firmware design and development for Wattbike products
• Establish firmware standards, documentation and version control
• Develop automated tests for firmware and software components
• Debug and optimize hardware‑software interactions, OTA updates and bootloaders
• Collaborate with electronics, app and cloud teams for seamless integration
