Job summary

Traffic Group, a UK-based ITS manufacturer, seeks a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop firmware for devices deployed worldwide. You will work with electronic engineers, software developers and product managers to translate requirements into reliable solutions ensuring safe, efficient movement of pedestrians and vehicles.

You will lead across the lifecycle, write robust embedded C firmware, document architecture and interfaces, and investigate new technologies with demonstrators for

Qualifications

• A relevant degree and at least ten years’ experience in firmware or embedded C development.
• Strong experience with embedded C and real-world device firmware.
• Experience with test scripting and demonstrator applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute across the development lifecycle from requirements to release.
• Develop robust embedded C firmware for real-world devices and applications.
• Produce clear documentation covering firmware architecture, interfaces and tests.
• Research new technologies and develop demonstrators for future products.
