Job summary

The National Space Centre in Leicester is seeking a Technical Support Electronics Specialist to take on full Duty Technician duties, including daily operation of the exhibition and handling electronics faults. The role requires strong practical knowledge of electronics, fault-finding, and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues under pressure.

You will lead on electronics maintenance across interactive exhibits and infrastructure, supporting projects and keeping documentation up to date.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Undertake Duty Technician duties on a roster including weekends/evenings.
• Lead specialist for electronics: diagnose, repair and maintain exhibition systems.
• Support electronics elements of projects and installations; maintain schematics.
