Electronics Lead – Manchester – £500–£600/day (Outside IR35)
6–12 Month Contract | Immediate Start

We’re working with an innovative technology company in Manchester who are looking for an experienced Electronics Lead to support them during a key phase of product development. This is a delivery-focused role that blends hands-on electronics design with team coordination across hardware, software, test, and mechanical disciplines. You'll play a vital part in guiding projects through development, compliance, and integration.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team
  2. Act as technical authority on board-level design, testing, and validation
  3. Oversee EMC, safety, and regulatory compliance processes
  4. Contribute to technical strategy and help optimise hardware workflows
Required experience:
  1. Strong background in electronics design for complex embedded systems
  2. Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
  3. Familiarity with EMC and regulatory compliance processes
  4. Confident communicator who can contribute at both technical and planning levels
