Wallace Hind Selection is assisting a growing, family-owned electrical services business in Northampton to recruit an experienced Electrical QS (Qualified Supervisor).

The role is mainly site-based with some office work, offering a competitive £40,000–£45,000 salary, overtime, a company van, pension and 24 days’ holiday. You will lead installations, ensure NICEIC compliance and support engineers through training and readiness for upcoming projects.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 – Testing & Inspection.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certified.
• Proven track record of domestic and commercial electrical work.
• Strong EICR knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical installations to NICEIC standards and company quality.
• Perform inspection & testing verification and certify results.
• Conduct post-inspection reviews for compliance and quality.
• Provide technical support to engineers in the field.
• Prepare and support NICEIC assignments and attend ECA meetings.
• Lead toolbox talks and training sessions for engineers and apprentices.
