Job summary

Fusion People Ltd. seeks an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor for Midlands duties with UK-wide travel. The role involves pre-start site surveys, reporting, and auditing progression of works.

You will oversee engineers, issue permits to work for remedials, and balance on-site and office days with overnight stays provided. The ideal candidate holds NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor Level, JIB Gold Card, and 18th Edition, with C&G qualifications and LVAP/HVAP preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold NICEIC Supervising qualification and JIB Gold Card.
• Qualifications include 18th Edition, C&G Part 1 & 2, NVQ3/AM2 and C&G 2391.
• LVAP or HVAP experience preferred for high/low voltage work.
• Experience delivering domestic/commercial electrical works incl. emergency lighting.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites for pre-start surveys and system assessment.
• Prepare reports on electrical systems and on-site findings.
• Monitor engineers against progress; audit works as progressed.
• Issue permits to work for remedials when required.
• Typical schedule 2–3 days on site and 2–3 days at home or in Birmingham office.
• Overnight stays with accommodation and sustenance provided.

Job description

Electrical Qualifying Supervisor - Midlands with UK wide travel c50k. Company van/pickup.

Our client manages the electrical policies, procedures and infrastructure for two large student accommodation portfolios, with approximately 77,000 beds across the UK.

They carry out fixed wire testing, board replacements, remedials as well as reactive and planned maintenance.

Initially this person would visit site to carry out a pre start survey, look at the systems on site, prepare a report, then as the project progresses, check on engineers against progress and audit works. If remedials are required then issue permits to work.

Expectation is for 2/3 days on site and 2/3 days at home or in the (Birmingham) office. You will be required to have overnight stays with accommodation and sustenance provided.

You will have experience in all aspects of the electrical trade, qualified to NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor Level and preferably have been an LVAP or HVAP.

Knowledge and experience of delivering domestic/Commercial electrical work including emergency lighting.
