Job summary

G2 Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical package on a flagship data centre project in Buckinghamshire. You will oversee installation, commissioning and handover, coordinating between M&E subcontractors, suppliers and the client to ensure flawless delivery.

The role focuses on managing LV/MV electrical systems, ensuring programme milestones, quality and HSE compliance, and providing clear progress reporting throughout the project

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on data centre or large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical systems.
• Experience managing M&E subcontractors and commissioning teams.
• Excellent client-facing and leadership skills.
• Relevant electrical qualifications (HNC/HND, City & Guilds, Degree or equivalent).
• SMSTS and CSCS required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all electrical works across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Ensure programme milestones, quality standards, and HSE requirements are achieved.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings.
• Oversee commissioning activities and project handover documentation.
• Report progress, identify risks, and drive solutions to maintain project delivery.
