Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a major data centre project in Buckinghamshire. You will lead electrical packages from installation through commissioning and handover, ensuring programme, quality, and safety objectives are met.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution and critical power systems, plus experience leading high-value projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager on data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical distribution and critical power systems.
• Experience managing high-value electrical packages and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of high-value electrical packages from construction through to commissioning and handover.
• Oversee the installation of HV/LV distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems and busbar infrastructure.
• Drive programme milestones, quality standards and health & safety compliance across all electrical activities.
• Support energisation works, integrated systems testing and client acceptance processes.

Electrical Project Manager | Data Centre | Buckinghamshire

I'm currently supporting a leading MEP contractor on the delivery of a major data centre project in Buckinghamshire and am keen to speak with experienced Electrical Project Managers interested in joining a high-performing mission-critical delivery team.

This role will see you take responsibility for a significant electrical package, managing works from installation through commissioning and final handover, while ensuring programme, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
