Job summary

M-Sport UK, based at Dovenby Hall, is seeking an Electrical Harness Technician to manufacture and assemble electrical harnesses to exacting standards. You will work within the Engine Shop, applying wiring diagrams and build specifications to produce high-quality harness assemblies.

Primary duties include terminating, crimping and testing harnesses, diagnosing faults and maintaining documentation. A Level 3 electrical/ Motorsport background is preferred, with attention to detail and teamwork

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 3 Electrical Engineering or Motorsport/Automotive equivalent.
• Practical understanding of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, connectors and sensors.
• Proven experience in harness manufacturing or assembly.

Responsibilities

• Harness manufacture to drawings, wiring diagrams and build specs.
• Assemble, terminate, splice and modify electrical harnesses.
• Work with vehicle electrical systems including sensors and ECUs.
• Perform electrical testing and fault finding to minimise downtime.
• Interpret engineering drawings and quality standards for documentation.
