Job summary

JLL is seeking an Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in Critical Facilities/Data Centre infrastructure. You will act as an Authorised Person, manage HV/LV systems, and lead safe isolation and testing across 13 sites.

The role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and coordinating third-party teams. You will drive safety-first culture, attend client meetings, and ensure compliant enablement works for Fixed Electrical Testing (FET) programmes with quality reporting to the FM team and

Qualifications

• Experience in Critical Environments, e.g., Banking HQ and Data Centres.
• Authorised Person for high/low voltage.
• BS 7671 compliant knowledge and practice.
• Strong communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Act as designated AP for 11kV distribution networks and LV systems across 13 sites.
• Perform safe isolations per Electrical SSoW guidelines.
• Issue, manage and cancel PtW and Certificates of Isolation.
• Enforce lock-out/tag-out protocols across all plant rooms.
• Review and sign off RAMS for sub-contracted testing teams.
• Oversee contractors performing periodic testing per BS7671 and Guidance Note 3.
• Operate MEP systems, recommend improvements, provide technical reports.
