Briggs of Burton is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer in the United Kingdom to own complex electrical design activities. You will develop schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts, selecting components and ensuring integration into the overall system.

Competenze

• Proven experience in industrial electrical engineering design.
• Strong experience in electrical control panel design, including component selection and integration.
• Ability to produce and interpret detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
• Understanding of control circuits, power distribution, protective devices and safe operation.
• Identify design conflicts, assess risks and develop solutions independently.

Mansioni

• Take ownership of electrical engineering design activities from specs to documentation.
• Independently develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and BOMs.
• Design electrical control panels and select components for proper integration.
• Produce and maintain design documentation using Promis.e.
• Review designs for accuracy, safety and compliance for manufacture and installation.
• Interpret customer specs and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Investigate design issues and implement corrective actions with other disciplines.
• Demonstrate understanding of electrical protection, hazardous area requirements and standards.
