Todd Hayes Ltd in the UK is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to drive the electrical design across a range of luxury yachts. Based in Southampton, you will produce detailed 2D electrical schematics, panel drawings and cable schedules using AutoCAD, and lead design reviews with Production, Procurement and Client Managers.

You will mentor the design team, ensure compliance with 18th Edition, and contribute to R&D and value engineering.

Qualifikationen

• Design-related degree or equivalent electrical design experience.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Experience with marine electrical design and systems.

Aufgaben

• Oversee and maintain electrical design standards across the range.
• Produce, check, update and issue accurate 2D electrical schematic and panel drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop contract-specific 2D CAD electrical information for Production.
• Produce accurate cable running schedules, considering manufacturing processes and installation requirements.
• Establish clear and accurate scopes of supply using the project's Master Work List.
• Lead the Electrical Design Change Request (DCR) process across the range.
• Ensure electrical design information is delivered accurately and to agreed deadlines.
