Job summary

Todd Hayes Ltd is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to oversee electrical design across their yacht range, producing 2D schematic and panel drawings in AutoCAD, and developing cable running schedules. You will report to the Design Manager and work closely with Production, Engineering and Procurement.

The successful candidate will have extensive marine AC/DC knowledge, 18th Edition, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive design change processes, and ensure quality and

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of marine AC and DC electrical systems and installation.
• Experience with yacht systems and component locations.
• Strong AutoCAD skills producing 2D electrical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain electrical design standards across the range.
• Produce, check, update and issue 2D electrical schematic and panel drawings in AutoCAD.
• Develop contract-specific 2D CAD electrical information for Production.
• Produce cable running schedules considering manufacturing processes.
• Lead Electrical Design Change Requests (DCR) across the range.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Joinery, Procurement and clients.
