Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer in Droitwich Spa to drive electrical system design across industrial projects. You will lead a team, produce load calculations, schematics, and cable schedules, and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.

You will coordinate with site teams during FAT/SAT, commissioning, and handover, providing senior technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers, with a focus on safety and buildability.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND (Electrical/Automation) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in EICA design for industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of BS 7671, Machinery Directive, HASAWA and related regs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation design for industrial projects.
• Produce load calculations, schematics, SLDs, cable schedules and device specifications.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and oversee project delivery from concept to handover.
• Ensure compliance with standards and maintain thorough documentation and revision control.
