Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join a commercial and industrial HVAC-focused team in the United Kingdom. The role requires leadership experience and an ability to oversee LV electrical design across several projects.

The ideal candidate has an HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering, is 18th Edition qualified, and proficient with AutoCAD. Amtech experience is preferred, with a driving licence and flexible working hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services or industrial, process sectors is required.
• Senior/leadership experience in electrical design is essential.
• 18th Edition qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineer for a small team of electrical design engineers, mentoring and delegating.
• Electrical design of LV layout for multiple projects and equipment selections.
• Attend meetings with customers and assist with project planning.
• Maintain regulatory/legislative compliance and specify compliant parts.
