Job summary

WR Engineering seeks an Electrical Design Manager to lead a small team of electrical design engineers, mentoring and providing technical support. You will handle LV electrical layout design for multiple data centre and HVAC projects, with responsible equipment selections and design calculations.

You will attend customer meetings, assist with project planning, and ensure regulatory compliance and proper parts specification.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition qualification
• Electrical design skills are essential
• HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering required

Salary £60K - £70K, 25 days holiday, pension

• Lead a small team of electrical design engineers, mentoring, delegating, technical support
• Electrical design of LV electrical layout requirements for multiple simultaneous data centre and HVAC projects
• Equipment selections and design calculations
• Attend meetings with customers
• Assist with project planning
• Maintenance of relevant regulatory/legislative compliance

• An experienced Electrical Design Engineer Manager, Senior Electrical Engineer
• Previous experience in senior / leadership role, ready for step up
• 18th Edition qualified
• Electrical Design skills are essential
• HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering
• AutoCAD experience/qualification
• Amtech design calculation software experience is preferable
• Driving licence
