Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex electrical and electronic control systems for global energy projects. You will own engineering activities from concept through delivery while collaborating with international customers and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering with strong theory.

Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight, run design reviews, guide engineers, ensure standards compliance and act as key technical contact for projects.
Deliver electrical/electronic engineering designs, analyses and calculations per company and international standards.
Produce, review and maintain engineering documentation (design specs, schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams, specs, test procedures, BOMs).
Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality engineering packages with full safety and compliance.
Respond to technical queries and support workshop/offshore activities and investigations.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design issues.
Support development of power, control, communication and electronic/PCBA systems.
Support on-site and off-site test setups, testing, fault finding and investigations.
Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and promote best engineering practice.
