Job description

Lead Electrical Design Engineer.

Are you ready to lead the design and delivery of complex electrical and electronic systems used across the global energy industry?

Would you like to apply your technical expertise and project ownership skills while working directly with international customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams?

Partner with the best
Baker Hughes stands as a leading global energy‑technology company, delivering innovative solutions that make energy safer, cleaner, and more efficient across the entire value chain. Operating in more than 120 countries, the company blends deep industrial expertise with advanced engineering and digital technologies to support energy production, transformation, and decarbonization. With over a century of heritage, Baker Hughes partners with customers in oil and gas, industrial sectors, and emerging energy markets to accelerate progress toward a more sustainable energy future.

Fuel your passion
As a Lead Electrical Design Engineer, you will join a global engineering team responsible for delivering advanced electrical and electronic control system solutions for complex industrial and energy applications. You will take ownership of engineering activities from concept through delivery, independently managing your technical workstreams while collaborating with internal stakeholders, customers and external engineering partners. In this role, you will be trusted to plan and execute engineering tasks with minimal supervision, identify technical risks, define priorities and drive solutions to completion. You may support both Baker Hughes projects and outsourced engineering programs, working directly with customers and supplier organizations in an international environment. Working alongside engineering teams across the UK, Poland and Vietnam, you will contribute to the successful delivery of customer-focused solutions while applying your technical expertise to increasingly complex engineering challenges. This is a design‑focused engineering role and not an installation, maintenance, or field service position.
