Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 ECT/rTMS Nurse to lead neuromodulation services, deliver safe treatments and supervise junior staff. You will coordinate clinics, assess patients, and contribute to governance and service improvement.

The role involves training staff, ensuring NICE/ECTAS compliance, and supporting the treatment pathway across acute and community interfaces.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration in mental health.
• Leadership and supervision skills in a senior clinical role.
• Experience with infection prevention and control in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical operations for neuromodulation services (ECT/rTMS).
• Assess patients pre-treatment, monitor during sessions, ensure safety.
• Coordinate pathways, referrals, and follow‑ups; liaise with community teams.
• Provide training and supervision to Band 5 nurses, HCAs and students.
• Lead audits, governance activities and incident learning.
• Ensure infection control and compliance with national guidelines.
