Job summary

Busy Bees West Ealing is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader / Third in Charge to oversee multiple rooms and ensure seamless educational delivery across the centre.

You will mentor Room Leaders, promote collaboration, and uphold high standards of care and learning in a Ofsted Outstanding environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role with a focus on safeguarding and family partnerships.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or higher in early years education.
• Experience in supervisory or leadership roles within an early years setting.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple rooms and ensure education strategies are consistent across them.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting curriculum to meet needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a high‑performing team.
• Safeguard wellbeing of children and support those with additional needs.
• Build strong relationships with parents and keep them informed of development.
• Ensure health, safety and safeguarding protocols are followed centre‑wide.
