Job summary

Busy Bees Bicester is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, lead a dedicated team and ensure the Bee Curious curriculum is woven into everyday learning.

You will shape the learning environment, develop staff through mentoring, and maintain high standards of care and safety for 108 children at our Ofsted‑rated Good centre, located in a friendly community with easy access for families.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and building positive relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and care for a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
