Job summary

Happy Days Nurseries & Pre-Schools in Thornbury, Bristol, seeks an experienced Early Years Manager to lead our well-established nursery. You will oversee daily operations, drive outstanding care and education aligned with EYFS and Ofsted, and develop a motivated team within a safe, inclusive setting.

You will build strong relationships with families and the local community, support quality improvement, and mentor staff to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years qualification required.
• Proven leadership within an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the nursery in line with EYFS and Ofsted.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Early Years team to deliver outstanding care and education.
• Manage staffing, budgets and resources effectively.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and the local community.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and ensure safeguarding compliance.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to support professional development.
