Job summary

Reed is seeking an experienced Early Years Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Norwich nursery, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment and high standards of care and education. You will develop staff, oversee safeguarding, EYFS compliance, and foster strong partnerships with parents while implementing new ideas to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum).
  • Experience managing an Early Years service.
  • Proven experience leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.
  • Commitment to safeguarding practices, including child protection leadership.
  • Knowledge of the Ofsted Inspection Framework for Childcare and Early Years.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding care and learning opportunities for young children.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day nursery operations and create a safe, welcoming environment.
  • Develop and support staff to maintain high standards of care and education.
  • Ensure safeguarding, Ofsted readiness and continuous improvement processes.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to involve them in children's learning.
