Job summary

easyJet Airline Company PLC in Edinburgh is recruiting a Duty Engineer to lead the Line Maintenance team and ensure safe, efficient delivery of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You will deputise for the management team and coordinate with stakeholders to keep aircraft departures on time.

A UK Part 66 B1/B2 licence and at least five years in line maintenance are required. The role offers a competitive base salary, up to 15% annual bonus, a 32‑day holiday allowance and excellent staff travel

Qualifications

Strong leadership in an engineering/maintenance environment.
UK Part 66 B1 and/or B2 licence and authorisation on company aircraft.
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational setting with emphasis on safety and performance.

Responsibilities

Lead the Line Maintenance production team to deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Deputise for the management team when required and manage resources to keep on-time departures.
Build relationships with operational stakeholders and suppliers to support a One Team approach.
Communicate operational risks and disruptions to the flying programme and ensure regulatory compliance.
