Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment are recruiting for a Lead Door Engineer - Installations to join a growing family-owned business. The role is home‑based with optional nights away and offers overtime, a company van and strong benefits.

You will install commercial doors from new builds to retrofits across the UK, adapt engineering drawings and ensure projects stay on time and within budget. Ideal candidates will have a door industry background, CSCS card, UK driving licence and PDA familiarity, with a

• Valid UK driving licence required.
• CSCS card is essential.
• Familiarity with PDA devices used on site.
• Experience in the door industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial doors from new builds to retrofits in existing buildings.
• Adapt engineering drawings as required.
• Ensure projects run to schedule and within budget.
• Mondays to Fridays 8:30am–5:00pm with travel and some overnight stays.

Are you a Door Engineer looking for a Monday - Friday role with plenty of overtime opportunities within a rapidly expanding family-owned business that invests in its employees?

In this role, you will carry out installations of commercial doors from new-builds to retrofits in existing buildings, while ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.

This role would suit a Door engineer from an industrial, automatic, roller shutter or similar door background, looking for plenty of overtime, additional earnings with nights away and training.

The role:

• Install commercial doors, from new builds to retrofits in existing buildings.
• Adapt engineering drawings.
• Ensure project timelines are met within budget.
• Monday - Friday 8:30 -5pm with Travel + Nights away.

The candidate:

• Hold a UK Driving License
• CSCS Card
• Familiar with PDA
• Experience within the Door Industry
