Job summary
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a District Nurse to operate within the St Neots/A1 Community Nursing Team. Qualifications
- Requires District Nurse Specialist Qualification or leadership experience in community nursing.
- Evidence of CPD with plan for postgraduate community qualification.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
- Able to travel independently around the county to meet service needs.
Responsibilities
- Work as autonomous practitioner with the integrated multi-professional team.
- Manage own caseload and assess complex patients.
- Plan, implement and evaluate treatment within professional guidelines.
- Keep patient at centre of care with patient and carer participation.
- Provide support and education to peers, new staff, and students.
- Supervise junior colleagues and delegate caseload accordingly.
- Deliver high standards of nursing care in patients' homes, including lone working.
