Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Digital Product Owner to own the Sales API, driving market expansion and integration with customer and partner platforms. You will define roadmap, prioritise features based on value, and work with Key Account customers to enable successful integrations.

You will collaborate with engineering, commercial teams and consultants, translate requirements into viable options, oversee backlog, write user stories, and ensure API documentation and testing

Qualifications

• Experience owning API products or technical integrations.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and data structures (JSON/XML).
• SQL and relational databases proficiency.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the Sales API roadmap and prioritize features based on competitive positioning and customer demand.
• Define success metrics and track API performance, adoption, and commercial impact.
• Act as a technical consultant to customers and partners integrating with the API.
• Collaborate with engineering to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure timely delivery.
• Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for API behaviour and data validation.
• Review API payloads and ensure documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI) is accurate.
