EPAM Systems, Inc. in London is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical derivatives trading systems and real-time data platforms. You will ensure high availability, resilience and regulatory compliance while working with global partners and engineering teams.

You will implement deployment best practices, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement in a hybrid environment with on-call responsibilities across global trading infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in supporting trading systems in front-office environments.
• Proven FIX protocol engineering expertise with vendor/exchange certification.
• Strong hands-on Python, PowerShell and scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with C# and SQL concepts.
• Experience with market data distribution systems (RTDS – ADS/DACS/ADH).

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage workflows and system reliability for global trading environments.
• Design and implement deployment, monitoring and observability best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues in real time for rapid resolution.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for front-office environments.
• Collaborate with traders and infrastructure teams for scalability and performance.
• Lead integration and performance testing for low-latency trading platforms.
• Optimize processes for compliance and audit readiness (RTS6).
• Provide SME for FIX connectivity, market data distribution and vendor integrations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for global trading infrastructure support.
