Job summary

MWI Animal Health is seeking a talented Lead DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role involves driving the DevOps function and helping teams ship software faster and more safely through building Azure infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should possess 6+ years of DevOps experience, strong hands-on Azure expertise, and ideally have a leadership background in technical roles. A collaborative spirit and a passion for mentoring engineers are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineering roles.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the DevOps Vision using Agile best practices.
• Lead the design of scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications and services.

Skills

Microsoft Azure expertise

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes

Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform/Helm)

CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps

Functional development/coding ability (Golang/Python)

Education

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A–C including Maths and English
