Job summary

LCP is seeking a Lead Development Engineer to join our London engineering team. You will be a hands-on technical partner, shaping architecture, mentoring developers and delivering high‑impact features across complex codebases.

You will drive evolving SDLC practices for AI-enabled development, champion pragmatic engineering, and collaborate with product owners to translate business needs into scalable, secure solutions on Azure/.NET.

Qualifications

• Strong, demonstrable experience with .NET applications and architecture.
• Experience designing scalable software on Azure PaaS/SaaS.
• Proficient in RESTful API design and relational databases.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and Azure services.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled development and agentic coding tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to develop architectural recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate solutions into reusable services.
• Drive evolution of SDLC practices for AI-enabled development.
• Champion pragmatic engineering, testing, CI/CD and maintainable code.
• Mentor developers and contribute to shared packages and services.
• Ensure secure, compliant production deployments with Platform/Infra teams.
• Represent product needs in quarterly planning and stakeholder discussions.
