Job summary

Praetorian Connections Ltd is seeking a Lead Developer to take technical leadership within the Data & Technical Development Team in a hybrid London role. You will define architecture, standards, and delivery for bespoke OSINT platforms, while actively contributing code and guiding the team.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of demonstrable experience in technical development management roles
• Ideally in OSINT or online data platforms
• Strong technical literacy across online data and AI landscapes
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of bespoke OSINT platforms and tools
• Define technical direction, architecture and coding standards for projects
• Write and maintain production-grade code for internal tools
• Provide direction to the development team on implementations and approaches
• Promote agentic coding and AI-assisted development practices
• Oversee API integrations and external data sources for OSINT
• Implement scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Ensure code quality, testing standards, documentation and deployment practices
• Mentor and develop junior developers within the team
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable and scalable across cloud environments
