Job summary

Fastnet Group seeks a Full Time & Qualified Lead Dental Nurse to provide chair-side support and leadership within the Glasgow practice and surgeries. You will help ensure excellent patient care while meeting Clinical & Health and Safety requirements.

We welcome an experienced Dental Nurse looking to step into a leadership role and contribute to a patient-focused team in a private/NHS hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate the highest level of patient care (essential).
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team (essential).
• Enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop new skills (essential).
• Experience in Private/NHS practices (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Creating a welcoming environment for patients.
• Using Software of Excellence to ensure accurate patient records.
• Surgery is set up for each session to promote efficiency.
• Anticipating clinician and patient needs and ensuring lab work and equipment are ready.
• Maintaining stock to ensure appropriate availability.
• Reception duties when required: answering calls and booking appointments.

You will play an integral role in ensuring excellent patient care whilst complying with Clinical & Health and Safety requirements.

You will be an experienced Dental Nurse looking to step into a leadership role!

Responsibilities

• Creating a welcoming environment for patients,


• (SoE) Software of Excellence usage to ensure accurate patient records,


• Surgery is set up for each session to practice efficiency,


• Anticipating clinician and patient needs in advance of their session and ensure necessary lab work & equipment is in place,


• Stock maintenance to ensure appropriate availability levels,


• Reception duties when required including:


• answering the telephone,


• making appointments,

Requirements

• Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care, (Essential),


• The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team, (Essential),


• Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills, (Essential),


• Experience working in Private / NHS practices, (Preferred)
