Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a Lead Dental Nurse for Elms Lea Dental Care in Brighton. You will lead a nursing team and uphold the highest standards of patient care in a safe, compliant environment.

The position is full-time (42.5 hours weekly) with shifts Mon-Fri 7:45am-5:15pm and one Saturday morning per month, at a competitive £16 per hour. Modern surgeries, nurse-led clinics, and opportunities for independent practice await.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• Previous experience in a lead or senior dental nurse role.
• A positive and empathetic approach, with strong communication and leadership skills.

We’ve got a Lead Dental Nurse vacancy at our welcoming Elms Lea Dental Care in Brighton.

• Full-time hours available - 42.5 hours a week
• Competitive hourly rate of £16p/h
• Typical shifts: Monday to Friday 7.45am-5.15pm
• Flexibility to work Saturday mornings once a month
• Modern and well-equipped surgeries, working alongside Specialists and Therapists
• Opportunity to work independently within our nurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice
• Private practice close to Preston Park train station with beautiful gardens for the team to enjoy

About you

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration
• Previous experience in a similar lead or senior dental nurse role
